There are two groups of letters in the personality type code:
The dominant function of an ENTJ is the judging one of Thinking. This means you like making decisions on the basis of logic, using objective considerations, and are concerned with truth, principles and justice. You are analytical and critical, tending to see the flaws in situations, and take a task-oriented approach in your dealings with people.
The judging Thinking function is extraverted. That is, thinking is used primarily to govern the outer world of actions and spoken words. The ENTJ will therefore organise life in on a logical basis, classifying, ordering, and directing facts and situations. You are probably decisive, with the aim of being just and fair, and comfortable with conflict as a way of resolving problems. In your work you probably take an impersonal approach, spontaneously tending to criticise, and focusing more on systems and organisational needs than each individuals' feelings.
The diagram represents how an average ENTJ uses all the functions. You can find out more about the diagram, and your personal, unique type dynamics, by completing our personality test.
